Oven Creamed Corn

This is out of a family recipe book that was compiled of Recipes from her mother. My husband's Great Aunt.

Ingredient

25-30 Ears

Corn

1/2 lb.

Butter

2 cups

Cream

1/4-1/2 cup

white sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut corn off cob and scrap cob to obtain the cream from the ear.

* Step 2

Add butter, cream, corn, sugar and salt to a roaster pan.

* Step 3

Bake at 250° for 1 - 1/2 - 2 hours.

* Step 4

Allow to cool then put in freezer containers and freeze or eat. * (when cutting any corn off the cob, try not to cut into the cob itself)
