Olivye /Ukrainian Potato Salad
A popular dish in Ukraine. Like anywhere everyone has their way of making this dish. Spices vary types of meat vary. An old friend used to work in the Ukraine and it was discribed to me as this. He said the meat could be ham, chicken, hotdogs, or sausage.
Ingredient

8-10 people
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash peel and dice the potatoes. Add to a pot and boil the potatoes till just fork tender. Do the carrots the same way. Wash the egges well and boil them I have free range egges so they definitely need a washing. Boil 10 minutes from time of boiling actually starts. Dice the ham and set aside.
* Step 2
Chop the Chives and dill add them to the ham
* Step 3
When just fork tender drain the potatoes and carrots. Add to the ham, diced dill pickles, and peas. Peel the eggs
* Step 4
Mix everything together. I add the egges on top peeled till all are peeled then I chop them up.
* Step 5
When chopped add eggs to the salad add mayonnaise stir gentle like so the peas stay whole. When mixed lay the pickle spears on top like a star.
* Step 6
Serve make sure everyone gets a pickle spears!! I hope you enjoy!!!
