Slow Cooked Country Style Ribs
Start your day off by getting a delicious meal into your slow cooker{ crock pot }. The aromas start filling your house almost immediately. Dinner has it so good and so easy!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Salt and pepper both sides of ribs. Ribs should be brought to room temperature before adding to slow cooker.
* Step 2
Mix all the sauce ingredients together. Whisking is best as it helps break up the preserves and has it incorporate better into the liquids.
* Step 3
Place ribs into slow cooker.
* Step 5
Cover slow cooker and turn on to low setting for 8 hours.
* Step 6
Sauce should thicken some during cooking. I like a thicker sauce so at the end I remove sauce and place it in a large saucepan ,removing the crushed garlic clove.
* Step 7
Turn saucepan to medium high and make a thickening slurry by adding 2 tablespoons of corn starch with 2 tablespoons sauce. Mix together and add to saucepan. Whisk until thickened.
* Step 8
Serve over mashed potatoes or I also like to serve over buttered egg noodles.
* Step 9
Place ribs onto of your accompanying side and spoon over the delicious sauce. Pick your favorite vegetable to go with it.
