Super Easy Caramel Sauce
The secret ingredient is the corn syrup. Keeps a foolproof caramel sauce, every time.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a large, deep pot set on high heat, add sugar, water and corn syrup.
* Step 2
Whisk constantly until a light to medium golden brown color. Keep an eye on this as it can burn quickly.
* Step 3
Add cream. Be careful as the mixture wants to boil up and can overflow. Whisk vigorously to prevent this. This is a very, very hot mixture and can cause serious burns if not handled with extreme care.
* Step 4
Remove from heat and let cool.
* Step 5
Pour into a glass container if not using right away. This can be stored in the refrigerator tightly covered for one week.
