6 Week Bran Muffins

Ingredient

Bran flakes

1 quart (4 cups)

Buttermilk

1 cup

Butter

5 cups

Flour

1/2 t

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine cereals and water. Let stand 1 minute, then add Buttermilk.

* Step 2

In another bowl, combine butter and sugar, then add eggs.

* Step 3

In a separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Combine with butter/sugar mixture.

* Step 4

Fold in cereal mixture until just blended.

* Step 5

The dough will stay good in the fridge for 6 weeks.

* Step 6

Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.

* Step 7

Sprinkle top with cinnamon & sugar mixture.

* Step 8

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
