Last week I dreamt of eating Mashuni. Mashuni is typically Maldivian breakfast, it's composed of tuna, coconut meat, onion, and chili. We used to eat it with flatbread or chapati as accompanied by milk tea or just black tea. Although we weren't staying that long (almost 2 years) in the Maldives 🇲🇻, Mashuni is one of our favorite breakfasts menu when we were living there.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare the bowl, grate, or grind the coconut. Add minced garlic, onion, and chili./ Siapkan mangkuk, parut, atau giling kelapa. Tambahkan bawang putih cincang, bawang bombay, dan cabai.

* Step 2

Add the tuna (strain and remove the water), lemon juice, and salt, mix them evenly./ Tambahkan ikan tuna kaleng (tiriskan dan buang airnya), air jeruk lemon, dan garam, aduk sampai rata.

Mashuni is ready to serve to eat with flatbread or chapati./ Mashuni siap di hidangkan dimakan dengan chapati atau roti datar. Happy Trying! Selamat Mencoba!
