Greek Style Breakfast Sausage

An adapted recipe of a traditional Greek sausage. Tasted great with my recipe for spanakopita egg cups and fresh fruit! :-P

Ingredient

Oregano

1/4 cup

Ice water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place pork and lamb in a large mixing bowl.

* Step 2

Mix all spices well.

* Step 3

Add spices and water to the meat and mix well with hands.

* Step 4

Refrigerate for an hour or more for flavors to blend. (Can be made the night before)

* Step 5

Portion into 16 - 2 ounce portions and flatten into round disks.

* Step 6

Fry in a hot skillet until you have a dark brown on each side. About 3 minutes per side.

* Step 7

Drain on paper toweling before serving.
