German Oktoberfest Stew

German Oktoberfest Stew

Had this at a friends house and decided to make my own.

Ingredient

Food ration :

8 servings

Cooking time :

60 min
2 tsp

olive oil

1 (14 oz)

pkg kielbasa

3 cloves

garlic minced

2 1/2 cups

chicken stock

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut kielbasa into bite size pieces and put into a large pot with olive oil until browned.

* Step 2

Add onion and cook until soft and slightly transparent. Add cabbage and cook a few more minutes.

* Step 3

Add garlic, cook until aromatic, then add the lager. Let cook for a few minutes until the lager reduces by half. Add salt and pepper.

* Step 4

Pour in the chicken stock, and potatoes, bring back to a boil, cover,

Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

* Step 6

Serve with black bread on the side, and a large beer.
