Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash well, pat dry and discard pointed ends of the kundru. Slice all the kundru in round shape.
* Step 2
Make a paste of tomato, dry red chilli’s and garlic cloves by grinding them. Don’t use water. Tomato will help in grinding.
* Step 3
Take a pan and add oil.
Now add the paste prepared and keep stirring.
* Step 4
Add Cumin seeds when you see the oil oozing out from the paste. Then add mustard seeds and a pinch of heeng.
* Step 5
Add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
* Step 6
Stir well and then add the chopped kundru.
Mix everything well
Now add chopped onions to the pan and mix again
* Step 7
Cover and let it cook for 5-7 minutes
* Step 8
When it’s done, add garam masala and serve hot with chapati
