Andhra prawns roast
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Clean the prawns and add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder mix well and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a wok add curry leaves and slit green chillies. Those are fresh prawns before cleaning.
* Step 3
Add onions and fry till translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off.
* Step 4
Add red chillies and fry for few seconds.
* Step 5
Add marinated prawns and cook on low flame. Prawns will leave the water. Add tamarind juice and cook on high flame.
* Step 6
Cook till all the water gets dry. Then roast slowly on a low flame for 5 to 10 minutes. Add curry leaves. And serve hot as a starter.
