Jeremiah’s Candied Pumpkin

Roasted pumpkin is delicious! Soft, sweet, and the very definition of ”comfort food.”

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

1 hour
1/4 cup

brown sugar

1 tsp

cinnamon

1/2 tsp

nutmeg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Scrub the pumpkin surface clean and remove the stem.

* Step 2

Halve the pumpkin and clean out seeds and strings; reserve the seeds

* Step 3

Melt the butter and mix in the sugar and other seasonings.

* Step 4

Baste the flesh (inside) with the mixture.

* Step 5

Bake at 350° for one hour.

* Step 6

Cut the pumpkin in wedges and serve. Remove the rind before eating.
