Redcurrant Salad
I was wondering if I could use redcurrants to make something other than jam or juice, when I came across this salad in Denmark!
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Thinly slice the turnip, and lightly sprinkle it with salt.
* Step 2
Cut the lettuce and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.
* Step 3
Squeeze the moisture out of the wilted turnip, and combine it with the lettuce and cucumber. Mix in the dressing ingredients.
* Step 4
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the redcurrants.
* Step 5
It will have a crispy texture if you eat it straight away. If you leave it overnight, it will be like a marinade.
* Step 6
This is a strawberry salad which I ate in a restaurant in Onsevig, Lolland, Denmark.
* Step 7
