Easy, Time-Saving and Delicious Steamed Rice in a Pressure Cooker
My mother saw the wife of an upscale restaurant owner wash rice on TV a long time ago.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
To rinse the rice, add water, lightly stir, then drain the water.
* Step 2
Add again water, then wash the rice (this time, however, try not to touch the rice), then drain. Repeat until the water is clear (about 3-4 times).
* Step 3
Drain the washing water completely, add the listed amount of fresh, clean water, then soak for about 30 minutes.
* Step 4
Heat in a pressure cooker over high heat until the pressure gauge rises (or "clicks" into place) reduce to low heat for 3 minutes, then let rest to steam for 10 minutes without lifting the lid. Then you're all done.
