Kylie's Bar-B-Q Weenies Over Rice
This was a dish my mom made for us as kids, that was a cheap budget friendly recipe that stretched to feed a family of 4 and taste good.. My brother and I loved it. I made this for my daughter as a child and it was her favorite thing to eat. Even her friends in the neighborhood liked it to. So if you have a limited grocery budget, this is one for you. You can double the recipe to make a larger amount and it will still be one of the cheapest dinners you will ever make.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Chop onion up small and in a med size pot, saute in oil till soft and translucent.
* Step 2
In small bowl mix worcestershire sauce, chili powder, ketchup, and water. Add to cooked onions in pot. (I like to double these ingredients to have more gravy).
* Step 3
Bring to a boil and lower to a simmer, and simmer for 20 minutes.
* Step 4
Add chopped weenies and cook 20 ore minutes. Serve over white rice.
