My Smoked Bacon, Leek & Spinach Quiche πŸ˜†

Yesterday I was given 8 Dozen Eggs free range by a friend who knows I cook. They go out of Date 31/04/2001. ( honestly 8 Dozen ) so today I made a quiche using 8 eggs and some others that will pop up later. I gave 3 Dozen away to family so they did not last long 🀣🀣 #Seasonalingredients

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

25 minutes
1/4 Cup

Milk

1 handful

Spinach diced

1 handful

Spinach chopped

1 tsp

Butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add the butter in a frying pan to melt then add the bacon and onion fry until near cooked. Then add it to kitchen roll to dry off excess juices

* Step 2

Add the Diced Leek to a little boiling water boil for 4 minutes drain and dry off.

Whisk the eggs in a large bowl add the milk and salt and pepper

Pour the whisked egg in a 10 inch oven dish greased.

Add the chopped bacon + onion and stir then the cheese and mix in

Next the leek and Spinach and mix by stirring

* Step 7

Add salt n pepper then add to a preheated 160Β°C for 20 minutes then check if its cooked through add back for another 3-5 minutes if still too moist

Let it cool completely in the fridge to set before slicing into it. Cut 4 slices and scoop out carefully with a spatula.
