Brian's best Chicken wings
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Combine all the ingredients except the chicken and bbq sauce in a microwave safe bowl. Warm slightly in microwave to dissolve and blend everything.
* Step 2
Add the chicken to the marinade. Cover bowl with lid and refrigerate overnight.
* Step 3
Slow cook in a crock pot until meat is tender but not falling off the bone. For fresh wings, this will take approximately 3 1/2 - 4 hours on low. Start with the drumette pieces, then add the wingette/flats half way through so both pieces are cooked pretty evenly.
* Step 4
Remove from crock pot and place in a bowl with lid and add the bottle of bbq sauce. Shake well to evenly coat all pieces. Place on a hot grill to flash the wings. 5-10 minutes on the grill will dry up and brown the wings.
