Linguine Pasta al Pesto e Asparagi
I was not all in my element making this lunch, it’s frankly just been a draining day. However, as the dish came to life my friend (who was making her own thing in the kitchen) hyped me by calling it the Green Garden Goddess Pasta. That and that alone made plating and slurping on this pasta worthwhile.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some of the start by pasta water
* Step 2
As the pasta cooks, in a separate saucepan, bring 1 inch of salted water to boil. Add asparagus, and boil uncovered until bright green and tender yet still crisp (this should take 3 to 4 minutes). Drain and set aside
* Step 3
Into a bowl, add drained pasta, asparagus, pesto and 3 tablespoons of pasta water. Toss to coat pasta and asparagus evenly in pesto, adding more water as required to make the dish extra saucy [do not add too much or it’ll be wet]
* Step 4
Garnish with Parmesan and serve immediately
