Creamy Beef Livers in Gravy
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak beef liver in milk for 30 minutes to an hour
* Step 2
In a shallow pan heat up butter and sauté the onions until tender and starting to brown. Set sautéed onions aside in a bowl for later
* Step 3
Drain livers of the milk and mix into it all seasoning ingredients, carefully massaging everything in
* Step 4
Coat individual liver pieces with flour and fry in two batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Brown both sides
* Step 5
Make a slurry by dissolving the bouillon cube in hot water and stirring in a teaspoon of flour. Set aside
* Step 6
Pour sautéed onions back into the pan, giving them a thorough mix with the livers. Pour in the slurry plus Worcestershire sauce and stir. Add more water if need be. Cook on medium heat until gravy thickens
