Hint of Mexican Cheese Sauce
I like to make breakfast casseroles from time to time and usually use my condensed cheddar soup recipe to make it nice creamy and cheesy. But this time I had some leftover taco meat so I added a few different things and made this easy cheesy sauce with a Mexican flair.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Melt butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Add in flour and whisk to combine to create a smooth consistency.
* Step 2
Slowly add in milk and continue whisking until all flour mixture is combined. Continue heating and stirring occasionally until just before boiling. Reduce heat to low and add shredded cheese.
* Step 3
Whisk until all cheese is melted and then add herbs and spices. Continue heating for about another 5 minutes.
* Step 4
Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before using.
