vegan butter

2 1/2 cups

water

1/2 teaspoon

course sea salt

1/4 teaspoon

black pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oil on a nonstick pan over medium heat. Sear the BURGER PATTIES until evenly browned on both sides. Set aside.

* Step 2

2. In the same pan, add the vegan butter and sauté the onions until translucent.

* Step 3

3. Remove the pan from the flame and add all-purpose flour, stirring immediately and thoroughly to make a roux. Bring back the pan to low fire, add seasoning, water, salt, and pepper.

* Step 4

4. Increase temperature and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until desired consistency is achieved. Serve on top of burger patties. Best enjoyed with steamed rice/mashed potatoes
