Puto Cheese

I'm not cussing 😂. This is a traditional Filipino snack/dessert made easy for you. I used silicone moulds but you can use parchment cupcake molds just make sure it won't collapse while steaming.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare steamer by boiling water set to medium low heat.

* Step 2

In a mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and sugar)

* Step 3

Add milk and egg. Mix until there are no lumps.

* Step 4

Add water and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

* Step 5

Grease molds thinly. Pour in mixture until filled 3/4 or the mold. Lay cheese on top.

* Step 6

Steam for 12 mins on low heat setting.
