Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For the dough: in a large mixing bowl combine yeast, water, sugar stir. Add oil, salt, egg white. Then gradually add flour. Add as you need it, you will have almost non sticky dough. You don't want it dry though, so be careful to add the flour to the mixture. Knead evenly about 8-10 minutes, until you have the dough softness as ear lobe 🤓 Set aside let dough double its size, about over an hour.
* Step 2
Cut the dough larger then egg size on a floured working surface.
* Step 3
Roll the dough into long snake shapes.
* Step 4
Hold in the middle and bring the other half next to the other one. Dont cut it! It will be like a U shape.
* Step 6
If you can't stretch it, hold it on the both edges, and swing it. 🤓
* Step 8
Grease the baking dish first. Then soak dough in the molasses water mixture. Take it out quickly place in the baking dish
* Step 9
Brush them egg and powdered sugar mix. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or Fennel seed / nigella seeds. Put it in the oven about 25 minutes
* Step 10
Pretty soft, açma "achma" as you pronounce..
* Step 11
Wow very tasty. Since I am on strictly diet, I gave some of them to my kid's friends. They like it. Play with the sugar, I like a more salty pastry rather than sweet. You can double the ingredient make more pasties.
