Cheese stuffed Köfte

Cheese stuffed Köfte

We call meatballs "köfte", but they are not always "ball" shaped , you can fry or bake in the oven way I did.

Ingredient

1/2 bunch

parsley

1 tablespoon

tomato paste

3 slices

cheddar cheese

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a small bowl, mix parsley, ground beef, egg, 1 spoon of paste, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin

* Step 2

Flatten them and put cheese on the middle and close it up, to prevent cheese leaking while they are in the oven, don't make bottom of köfte to thin, try to put cheese top of the layer of meat.

Cut potatoes , set oven 190°C or 350°F, sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano.

Brush 2 baking dish with oil, and place köftes.

* Step 5

In other baking dish, mix potatoes with oil and put them in the oven and bake. Bake köftes too, after adding baked potatoes to köfte dish, don't turn of the oven yet

* Step 6

Prepare 1 cup of hot water with tomato paste and pour over köfte potatoes mixture, put bake it into oven, cook about 20 more minutes
