Fried Green Tomatoes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Slice the green tomatoes and set aside. Prepare eggwash by mixing two eggs with milk in a bowl, set aside. Pour flour onto a plate, may optionally season the flour.

* Step 2

Coat each side of each green tomato with flour. Then dip into eggwash and then coat each flour and eggwashed slice with the cornmeal. Set aside the fully coated tomatoes.

* Step 3

Pre-Heat oil to 350°F, or 180°C. Drop the Breaded tomatoes in oil and cook to desired doneness. I dropped mine in the deep fryer and fried til golden, approximately 4-6min.

* Step 4

Place cooked tomatoes on paper-towel lined plate. Serve and enjoy! 😋 may enjoy with ketchup!
