Hoe Cakes (Fried Cornbread)

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix flour, corn meal, baking powder, eggs, milk, water, sugar, salt and pepper together with whisk.
* Step 2
Heat Lard and butter on med high heat in skillet (prefer cast iron)
* Step 3
In 1/4C measurements, drop batter into hot skillet. Fry til golden and crisp on each side. (About 3-4 min each side) Plate onto paper towel lined plate to drain excess grease. Enjoy!
