Char Siu - Hoisin Roasted Pork
This is one of our best recipes. The flavor is mind blowing, it very simple and yet very good.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut the White Onion in thin slices and place them on a baking tray.
* Step 2
Wash the Red Bell Pepper with plenty of water and cut them in one inch squares.
* Step 3
Wash the Mushrooms with plenty of water and cut them in halves.
* Step 4
Place the Red Bell Pepper squares in between the White Onion slices and the Mushrooms on the corners of the baking tray.
* Step 5
Wash the Pork Cut with plenty of water and place it on a separate baking tray.
* Step 6
Add Salt and Black Pepper and rub it all over the cut.
* Step 7
Add the Garlic and Ginger pastes and rub them all over the Pork Cut. Let it rest for at least one hour inside the fridge.
* Step 8
For the Sauce, pour the Char Siu, Hoisin and Soy Sauces in a bowl. Add the Sesame Oil and Chinese Cinnamon and mix well.
* Step 9
Take the Pork Cut out of the fridge and place it on the baking tray where the veggies are. Take the remaining juice and mix it with the oriental ingredients sauce.
* Step 10
Place the Yellow Plums on the corners of the tray and pour the sauce over the Pork. Cover with aluminium foil.
* Step 11
Bake for four hours at low heat (approximately 350 Fahrenheit) and then remove the foil. Bake for another hour at high heat (approximately 500 Fahrenheit).
* Step 12
Take the Pork out of the tray and gather all the remaining vegetables along with the juices. Then serve pouring the mix over the Pork Cut. Enjoy!
