rice vinegar

soy sauce

sesame oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine garlic, ginger, soy, vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Whisk together

* Step 2

Stir sesame oil in slow, steady stream to incorporate.

* Step 3

Add ribs and marinate up to 48 hours.

* Step 4

Pat ribs dry. Season with 5 spice.

* Step 5

Wrap in foil pocket. Cook at 400° for 20 minutes. Uncover. Cook another 20 minutes or until ribs are caramelized and tender.

* Step 6

Variations: Mustard, wasabi, mirin, sake.
