Cooking instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the salt and honey are dissolved.

* Step 2

Use immediately.

*This cure was designed for fish, but can also be used for turkey, chicken, or pork. Cover and marinate small pieces of fish or pork for 1 to 2 hours, medium pieces of fish or pork for 2 to 3 hours, and large pieces of fish or pork overnight in the refrigerator. Chicken breasts or turkey breasts need 2 to 4 hours, and a whole bird needs to be marinated overnight.*

**This recipe can be used on any fish, but my friend used it on salmon and it was excellent.**

***This recipe makes 4 cups, enough for 2 pounds of fish, poultry, or pork.***
