Chico, Champ, & Lexi's Cinnamon Biscuits
I dedicate this biscuit recipe to my 2 purebred Beagles I've owned in the past that have gone to The Bridge, Chico and Champ. And my purebred Beagle I own today, Lexi. They all have enjoyed this snacks, and I hope your dog will too.
Cooking instructions
* Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the flour, powdered milk, salt, sugar and cinnamon.
* Step 3
Rub the shortening/margarine into the mix with your hands until the mixture looks like cornmeal.
* Step 4
Add the egg and 1/4 cup of ice water.
* Step 5
Mix and add more water if the dough isn't holding together.
* Step 6
Form the mixture into a ball.
* Step 7
Pat or roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thickness on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick spray.
* Step 8
Use doggie biscuit cutters to cut out shapes, or make your own shapes (I use bone shaped cutters.)
* Step 9
Pick up the scraps and reform into a ball and pat out onto a second cookie sheet for cutting.
* Step 10
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
