Blondie's Mom's Toffee Squares
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Beat well.
* Step 2
Add egg yolk and vanilla. Blend.
* Step 3
Add flour and salt. Blend to moisten flour.
* Step 4
Spread in a rectangle about 10 x 15 inches on a greased cookie sheet.
* Step 5
Bake at 350°F about 20 minutes.
* Step 6
While slightly warm, spread with melted chocolate.
* Step 7
Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
