Donna Hay Mud Cake

Ingredient

400 grams

butter

300 grams

dark chocolate

2 tsp

vanilla

1/4 cup

water

eggs

1 1/2 cup

SR Flour

1/2 cup

cocoa

1 cup

cream

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place butter, chocolate, water, coffee and vanilla in a saucepan over low heat and stir until melted.

* Step 2

Beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy. Beat in chocolate then fold in flour and cocoa.

* Step 3

Pour into greased and lined cake tin. Bake 1 hour 20mins in 160 oven.

* Step 4

to make ganache melt chocolate and cream together over low heat until smooth. Allow to cool to room temp then spread over cooled cake.
