Mushroom and Green Peas Fry

#WS #Week4 #cookpadindia A super tempting and a healthy side dish for meals that is so very Indian. Mushroom Matar Fry is a great one at that. It is actually a super duper delectable comfort food. Made with simple pantry staples, it is a winner hands down. It goes well with both Rotis and Rice. Infact it makes for a perfect choice or idea for Lunchbox too. Green Peas and Mushrooms compliment each other so very well. Creamy and delicious in every bite.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-5 servings

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
2-3 tbsp

Oil

1/2 tsp

Cumin Seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan, heat some oil and add the ginger garlic green chilli paste. Saute it for a few seconds and then add in the cumin seeds as well. Saute all of that for a minute and then finally add in the halved mudhroom slices.

After frying for a minute or two, add the green peas too. Saute all of that on a low to medium high heat only. Keep stirring at regular intervals.

Also add all the powdered spices too. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10-12 minutes. Do not add water. Cover and cook on a low heat. That's it. It will be done easily. It is done in about 20 to 25 minutes in all and doesn't take much time. Keep stirring as and when required. Addition of spices can be one's own choice.

Relish this awesome dish well garnished with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot as a delicious side dish to many an important meals. Yum!
