An amazing fusion by me with this awesome tropical fruit, famously called as "Ber" in our Country. It is quite nutritious and rich in Vitamin C. It is second to Guava and is much rich in Vitamin C than citrus fruits. And is abundantly available in Winters in our Country. Though they are a bit on the tangy side, we have sweeter one's too. All in all, a lovely Dessert to enjoy. You can use Brown sugar or Jaggery too. It tastes equally good.
Ber or Jujube is one such versatile fruit that's easily available aplenty in the markets these days.
This Chutney is absolutely easy and a delicious one too. Nothing much complicated at all. No fancy ingredients required. A few simple everyday spices go into making this one.
Meals are often incomplete without a Chutney or a Pickle in our Country. And this one is a perfect choice. No hassle version. Irresistible and a delicious one made with a Fruit full of goodness and nutrition and is at your disposal in no time at all.
And not only that, it tastes awesome with Rotis and Parathas too. It's a good one for Wraps, Rolls, Frankies and Sandwiches too. You will just love it. It's a bit tangy and absolutely flavourful with all the goodness of a loved Fruit.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin and black seeds at first. Let them crackle before you add chopped garlic cloves. Saute on a low heat until it changes it's colour a bit and smells good.
* Step 2
Now is the time to add thinly sliced ber or jujube and the rest of the powdered spices too. Mix well and let it cook for a good 15 minutes on a low heat until done. Don't forget to cover it with a lid.
* Step 3
At last after it's ready, squeeze some lemon juice into it. Also add the palm jaggery. Mix and it's perfectly done.
* Step 4
Serve this tantalizing chutney alongside rotis and steamed rice. Enjoy! Yum!
