Purple Cabbage and Moong Daal Fry

#Feb #Week4 #cookpadindia This is yet another simple dish made in my home with Cabbage and Yellow Split Gram or Moong Daal. Not only it is absolutely delicious but also gives that amazing crunch to the dish. It goes very well with any Indian Bread for Breakfast. It also can be relished with a steaming hot plate of simple boiled Rice alongside any other Curry or as it is too. It tastes super yummy. And it's done with just a few spices and Vegetables. That's it.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan, heat some Oil and add the Mustard Seeds at first followed by the Ginger garlic paste. Saute it for a few seconds and then add in the Asafoetida and the Moong Daal as well. Fry it on a low heat until crisp and done. Add in the powdered spices too. Followed by the shredded Cabbage finally. Mix well and cook on a low heat with a lid on.
