French Beans Fry with Dill

#Win #Week6 #cookpadindia A Green delight that goes well with Chapatis and Rotis with French Beans and Dill. This is my way of frying Beans in Winters especially when Vegetables are available aplenty. Simple ingredients go into making this fry and tastes so good too. And to top it all, it's a great one for both Lunch or Dinner. And also a filling one for Breakfast as well. It's also a lovely option for Lunchbox ideas. And it's easily done with minimum of pantry staples. This stir fry recipe is a flavourful dish full of the goodness of Winter Vegetables. Though it's made with Dill Greens or Soya Bhaji that's available throughout the Country, it will not compromise on it's taste. Infact it would be equally great and Dill Leaves will add a different look altogether as well as make it more flavourful and aromatic. Beans with these Leafy Greens would definitely be a great option for a simple stir fry this Season. It can be a perfect choice for Breakfast and Lunchbox ideas. Happy Cooking Folks!

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-5 servings

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes

Salt

2 tbsp

Oil

1/2 tsp

Cumin powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil and add asafoetida and ginger garlic green chilli paste to it. Fry for a minute or two. Also, add the rest of the spices now. Fry for a minute. And finally, add the chopped dill leaves to it. Add salt according to taste and saute on a high heat for almost 2-3 minutes. Now add beans with spices. Cover with a lid now and allow it to cook further without adding any water.

After almost 15-18 minutes, it's almost done. Mix well and garnish with coriander. Serve hot with chapatis or phulkas. It goes well with boiled rice and khatti daal too. Yum!

It's a no onion recipe but they can be added if desired. I do it both the ways. It tastes equally great and delicious. The crunch can be maintained and it depends on one's own choice. You can increase or decrease the cooking time meticulously. Enjoy!
