Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil milk on a low flame until reduced to one fourth of the original quantity. Add two crushed green Cardamoms to it. After it's well simmered, now is the time to add sliced nuts along with the soaked and drained rice. Cook on a low heat until it cooks perfectly well and eventually thickens.

* Step 2

Mix well and allow to simmer on a medium high heat by continuously stirring it until it reaches your desired consistency. And finally stir in some Malai. It gives it a unique taste. Take care about the stirring and keep an eye on it while it's simmering. Otherwise it might get burnt at the bottom.

* Step 3

You can very well choose your preferable consistency for the Kheer, either thin or thick. Mix well and garnish with slivered Almonds and Pistachios. Serve it warm or chilled. The choice is yours. Enjoy! Yum!
