California Farm Oyster Mushroom Steak Dinner
We forage for california oyster mushrooms six weeks after the first fall rains. It rained last week, oyster mushrooms will be ready mid december. Here are the recipes made with store bought oyster mushrooms, with french fries and steamed carrots and a poutine mushroom gravy sauce. I also made a pan fried steak pork version.

2 people, 2 mushroom steaks

20 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Baste oyster mushroom with molten butter or margarine, grill only a few minutes or melt cup of Lard, low heat, fry shoulder blade porksteak ten minutes on each side, place on warm plate. Panfried oyster mushroom sprayed with olive oil, browned ten minutes, is delicious, tastes like veal.
* Step 2
Boil cup of shoestring carrots, about ten minutes, place on warm platter.
* Step 3
Fry hand cut french fries in the lard you used to fry mushroom steak or pork steak in, about ten minutes, place on warm platter.
* Step 4
Make poutine gravy with mushroom broth for oyster mushrooms and mushroom broth or vegetable broth or other broth for pork steaks, about ten minutes.
* Step 5
Drizzle poutine gravy over pork or oyster steak, french fries and shoestring carrots. Sprinkle with sweet red paprika powder. Enjoy.
