Oats and Chicken Harissa

#cppUAE #cppassport #toc2 #cookpadindia Harees or Harissa or Daleem is a versatile dish that can be served in any party, get togethers or weddings. It is basically a Middle Eastern dish with boiled, cracked or broken wheat and Mutton or Chicken. Using oats is a much quicker version of this. Eating it also differs in many parts. It is eaten on it's own as a Porridge or is eaten with bread in other Countries. It is an all time comfort food for me and my family. There is nothing better than a steaming hot plate of Harees garnished generously with fried Onions and a dash of Lemon and fried Cashews. Daleem is a popular main course or a starter similar to Harissa and is also a statement dish at every Wedding and special Occasions here in the City. Infact this dish has it's roots in the UAE and the GCC. So that's it.
