It's a most popular dish served at every eatery and restaurant in Karachi, especially made on Bakra Eid celebrations also. It is made with Kidneys, Lungs, Brain, Heart, Liver etc. You can serve this with homemade Naans also. It tastes awesome. For the other parts, you need to pressure cook them before proceeding with the rest of the recipe. I just love this super yummy dish and see to it that kids get to eat this healthy main course. The best part is that they will not be able to find out what is it. You can feed them without much difficulty.

Goat Brains

1 tsp

Salt

1/2 tsp

Cumin powder roasted

1/2 tsp

Coriander powder roasted

1 tsp

Red Chilli powder

Green Chillies finely chopped

Onion finely chopped

1 bunch

Coriander Leaves finely chopped

1/2 tsp

Kasuri Methi

1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder

1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste

2 tbsp

Oil

1/2 tsp

Garam Masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat Oil and saute Ginger garlic paste with Green Chillies and Onions on a low heat until translucent and done. Add washed and cleaned Brains now.

* Step 2

Fry for a minute or two and then add all the rest of the spices except Kasuri Methi. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes. Stir in between to ensure even cooking of both the Brains added. Also add half of the finely chopped Coriander Leaves. Mix and cook in such a way that everything looks so well mashed up and absolutely with no bigger pieces. It should be sauteed well until Oil starts separating from the sides of the pan.

* Step 3

Garnish with the remaining freshly chopped Coriander Leaves and Kasuri Methi homemade one. Serve with Parathas, Chapatis or Phulkas. It's a perfect way to enjoy a healthy meal with your loved ones.
