This chilled Indian Ice cream is already a rage with us Indians and addition of Saffron or Kesar makes it more divine. Present it in your unique way with umpteen number of choices and variations of your choice and liking. This will definitely be an added attraction at your dining table for sure. Celebrate your important occasions with this Kesar falooda for your families and guests. A wonderful dessert cum drink to complement your iftaar meals to the fullest.

Ingredient

5-6 servings

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
2 cups

Falooda Sev

1/4 cup

Sugar

15 strands

Saffron

4 tbsp

Chia Seeds

1 cup

Milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil milk with sugar and allow it to chill in the refrigerator. Now boil the sev as per package instructions and set aside. Soak Saffron strands in a cup of boiled milk and allow it to chill.

* Step 2

Mix it well and add it to the previously boiled milk. Allow it to chill until use. Soak chia seeds in enough water for 15 minutes until well soaked and done. For assembling the falooda, take 6 tall serving glasses.

* Step 3

Add a tablespoon of chia seeds in each. Followed by the falooda sev. Pour the chilled milk on top as well as the slivered nuts. Finally add a big scoop of ice cream on top. Serve it extra chilled. You don't have to have any reason to make these yummy beauties folks, whip it up anytime you feel like having something refreshing and chilled.
