Sorshe Parshe Jhal
Shorshe Bata diye Parshe Macher Jhal is a famous Bengali mustard-based Mullet fish aka Parshe fish curry. This is a very popular fish recipe for Bengalis with most simple pantry ingredients. I thank Ms. Kumkum Chatterjee for her recipe.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Marinate the fishes with turmeric powder and salt and keep them for 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Take oil in Kadai and lightly fry the fishes and keep aside.
* Step 3
In the same Kadai add further 1 tbsp oil, add black cumin seeds, green chili, ginger paste and immediately add 1 tbsp water. Keep the mustard paste ready.
* Step 4
Now add the fishes, turmeric powder, some water, and cover and cook slowly. Finally, add 1 tbsp mustard paste and just boil for 2 minutes or it may become bitter. Sprinkle few drops of mustard oil and serve with hot rice.
