Khoya Rasmalai

Ingredient

1 liter

Milk

3 tablespoons

Sugar

2-3 tablespoon

almonds chopped

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Make fresh khoya using 1-liter milk and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Take a clean muslin cloth and tie khoya in it. Squeeze it gently to remove excess water and hang it over the hook for around 30-45 minutes to drain the excess water. After about 30 minutes, untie the muslin cloth and transfer khoya to a plate.

* Step 2

Mash and knead crumbled khoya with hand until it comes together and turns into dough. Stop kneading when your palm starts to turn greasy Divide it into 12 equal portions. Make a small ball from each portion, press it gently between your palms to flatten it and turn into round pattie......

* Step 3

Boil milk with green cardamom,saffron and sugar till slightly thick. Put patties into boiling milk. Cover and cook. When milk reaches to boiling point uncover and low down the heat. Repeat this action. Third time when it comes to boiling point, without uncovering low down the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with almond pistachio and seve chill 💓💗💓💗💓
