Aloo Matar Sabzi Recipe is a very traditional Punjabi dish that is made with potatoes and peas, simmered in light and tangy tomato gravy with spices

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash, peel and chop potatoes. Peel and chop onion and tomato and make paste
* Step 2
Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 second s. Now add onion tomato paste and green chilli and cook on low flame till oil leaves the sides. Now add all dry spices except garam masala. and mix. Add chopped potatoes and peas and stir well and saute for 2 minutes.
* Step 3
Now add water and stir. Place the kid and cook for 3-4 whistles and then switch off the flame. Let pressure release automatically.
* Step 4
Open the lud and add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
* Step 5
Serve hot with rice or chapati.
