Pesarattu (Moong Dal Dosa)

Moong Dal dosa is a protein packed and rich dosa/crepe made with split yellow moong, rice along with green chili, ginger, cumin seeds and salt. It also helps with weight loss. It boosts blood circulation and is healthy for diabetic patients.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash moong dal, split moong dal and rice thoroughly in running water. Soak it for 4 hours. Then discard water
* Step 2
Peel and wash ginger and green chilli.
* Step 3
Then transfer mixture of dals and rice in a mixer. Add ginger, green chilli, cumin seeds and salt and grind it to a fine paste. Remove it in a mixing bowl. Whisk it for 2 minutes. Add water and check it's consistency. It should be like dosa.
* Step 4
Heat a griddle. Add 1/2 tsp cooking oil and spread it on griddle. Then run a tissue paper on griddle. Lower the flame and spread 1&1/2 ladle of batter in circular motion on griddle. Cook for 2 minutes. Carefully flip the side. Cook for 2 minutes. Flip again and cook for 2 minutes. Dosa is ready. Likewise make all the dosa.
* Step 5
Serve it hot with potato masala, chutney or pickle.
