Crispie Potato Poha Tikki

#HBR #HealthyBreakfast Crispy potato poha tikki is a fried tikki recipe which is made from beaten rice or aka poha with mashed potatoes and is ideal party starter or kids breakfast recipe and it can be easily extended as patties for burger or sandwich recipes.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash flattened rice and keep it in a colander. Peel and mash boiled potatoes. Mix wet poha and potatoes in a mixing bowl.

* Step 2

Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chili, and grated ginger. Add salt, red chili powder, shahi kitchen masala, and royal masala and mix well.

* Step 3

Now divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape them as balls. Then flatten it and make round tikkis.

Heat cooking oil in a skilllet. Place tikkis over it and shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from another side also.

Remove it to a plate.

Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
