Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add two tb spoon milk to the saffron and keep it aside.
* Step 2
Heat ghee in a karahi and fry the raisins, cashew and almonds. Keep aside.
* Step 3
Add vermicelli in the same pan and sauté till it turns golden colour. It will take around 3 minutes.
* Step 4
To this add milk and let vermicelli cook for 5 minutes. Add sugar and let it dissolve in kheer mixture.
* Step 5
Let the kheer simmer for 10 minutes till it become little thick. Add crumbed khoya and mix well and simmer for further 10 minutes.
* Step 6
Add saffron dissolved milk and mix well. Switch off the flame add raisins, cashew and almonds and mix well.
* Step 7
Garnish with pistachio and serve Uttar Pradesh style Shir Sewain.
