Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak moong Dal for one hour. Drain the water after one hour and coarsely grind by adding curd. Transfer it in a mixing bowl.
* Step 2
Chop all vegetables in small pieces.
* Step 3
Heat oil in a karahi. Add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds splutter put finely chopped vegetables and grated ginger. And stir well till done.
* Step 4
Now mix all the vegetables in moong Dal paste. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
* Step 5
Brush idli mould with cooking Oil.
* Step 7
Now add eno fruit salt sachet in the mixture and stir well. Put one spoon full of batter in teach idli mould. Put this idli stand in the cooker in water is heated.
* Step 8
Place the lid. Remove whistle from the lid. Steam for 12 minutes.
* Step 9
Switch off the flame after 12 minutes. Wait for 20 minutes. Open the lid and remove the idli from mould with the help of knife.
* Step 10
Serve hot with sauce or green chutney.
