Mushroom Soup
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the Shiitake Mushrooms in boiling Water for at least an hour.
Remove soaked Shiitake Mushrooms from the water.
Retain the water.
Remobe the stem, then finely chop the Shiitake Mushrooms and set aside.
* Step 2
Heat the Olive Oil in a Soup Pot over medium heat.
Sauté the Onion, Carrot and Celery until translucent.
* Step 3
Add in the crushed Garlic, fresh and rehydrated Mushrooms and Thyme.
Simmer for 5 minutes over medium-low heat.
* Step 4
Add Vegetable Stock powder to the water in which the Shiitake Mushroom rehydrated.
Add Stocks, Worcestershire Sauce, and red Pepper Flakes.
Season with salt and pepper.
* Step 5
Reduce to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
