Guava Chutney

#SD2 Guava is one of my favourite fruit and I grow these sweet Guavas. I made Chutney and it’s heavenly

Ingredient

Food ration :

2 servings

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-40 mins
500 gms

Guavas

1 Tbsp

sugar

As Per Taste

Salt

1 Tbsp

oil

2-3

cloves

As Required

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the Guavas. Cut into small pieces and add to a bowl.

* Step 2

Add salt, sugar, and red chili powder and mix well to marinate for 10 mins.

* Step 3

In a wok heat oil, add chopped ginger, black peppercorns, and cloves, and stir for 1 min. Add guavas and mix well.

* Step 4

Add water and Please remember the Chutney would be of thick consistency, so if less water is added, once cooled the Chutney would harden, so give adequate water.

* Step 5

Cover and cook the Chutney. Once of medium consistency set aside.

* Step 6

Plate and garnish with coriander leaves.

* Step 7
