Gur ka Daliya

#GA4 #week15 Dalia can be very well enjoyed as a dessert when made with jaggery. Adding dry fruits gives a fabulous taste which can be enjoyed hot in this winter weather in Kolkata

Ingredient

Food ration :

3 people

Cooking time :

Preparation time-5 mins, Cooking time-40 mins
1/4 cup

jaggery

2 Tbsp

cashew nuts

2 Tbsp

almonds

2 Tbsp

walnuts

1/2 cup

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pressure cooker heat ghee and roast almonds until light brown in colour. Set aside

* Step 2

Roast Cashew nuts until light brown. Set aside

Roast walnuts until light brown, set aside

* Step 4

Now roast the Daliya until light brown and add jaggery. Cook until jaggery melts and add 3 cups water. Put on pressure with 3 whistles on low flame. Turn off the gas.

* Step 5

Keep on pressure for 15 mins. Cook on low flame and add 2 Tbsp ghee.

Plate and garnish with fried dry fruits
